About This Course:

Association's curriculum, Fundamentals of Human Resources has been designed
specifically for the practicing manager and the future manager. It provides
private, self-paced, individualized study; learning and self-evaluation through
in-text exercises.
Patricia M. Albrecht has been an AMA Senior Instructor since
1978, monitoring a wide range of courses designed to enhance managerial skills,
and has also written a number of courses for AMA. In 1980, she became a
principal in the consulting firm of Albrecht, Cahn, and Goldstein, which
provided training seminars and produced human resources material for small and
midsized businesses in central Massachusetts. Ms. Albrecht is a graduate of
Assumption College and the University of London.
Roger C. E. Albrecht, principal of Albrecht Consulting Services,
Worcester, Massachusetts, has more than 20 years of experience in human
resources management, specializing in the field of retirement planning and
health/benefits plan audits and renovation.
Clients include The Travelers Company, The New Hampshire College
and University Council, Cultural Exchange Association of Boston and Tokyo, The
Wang Institute, Stephens Institute of Technology, Holy Cross College, and MIT.
Albrecht is the benefits manager for the Administrative Office of the Trial
Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Mr. Albrecht completed a BA/LLB degree course at the University
of Melbourne and qualifies as a Barrister at Law in the United Kingdom.
