Wayne G. Bremser, C.P.A., Ph.D., is Professor of Accountancy at Villanova University. His articles have appeared in numerous accounting and business journals, and he has led seminars and made presentations at many professional meetings. Professor Bremser does financial and educational consulting, including the designing of control systems. He has also written several financial self-study courses for the American Management Association, including How to Plan and Manage Your Company Budget, Fourth Edition; Keeping Score: The Basics of Accounting for Managers; Fundamentals of Budgeting for Nonfinancial Managers; and How to Manage Working Capital. Bremser is a director of  Accountants for the Public Interest in Washington, D.C.
